For me, being a therapist is about loving to hear others’ stories, sharing their pain, and walking along side of them during their path to healing.  My natural warmth and compassion allow me to foster a safe and affirming space where you are empowered to move in new directions.  I believe in a holistic approach to treatment, a mind-body connection to health.   My hope for you is that our work with one another will lead to long-term benefits of coping, resiliency, and healing.

I’ve had the opportunity to provide humanistic, client-centered therapy to adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups from all walks of life.  I enjoy supporting clients with a wide variety of concerns, including the following and more: depression, anxiety, diminished self-esteem, women’s issues, identity conflict, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, self-regulation, relationship and family concerns, and personality disorders.  I also have an extensive background in and affinity for working with LGBTQ individuals.  Overall, I take seriously the need to be versed in and sensitive to all social, cultural, and spiritual backgrounds in order to be most effective in supporting you.

I hold a Master of Art degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University.  Currently, I am working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.

Finding the right therapist is important, and I welcome the opportunity to see if we are a good fit!
